She is a Nigerian French singer.
She is an African recording artist and singer-song writer in Africa. She is actually named "Asha" but performs in the name of Asa. Her voice touches millions of Africans hearts. She can produce sad poetry in a joyful way which shows her uniqueness.

Number 4:Siphokazi




She is an outstanding musician(music composer)in the country shortly after entering into the music industry she decided to experiment with music styles and is now a vocalist and an outstanding musician.

Number 3:Wahu

She is from Kenya and her original name is Wahu Kagwi. Her musical fame started off with many struggles but the hard work and strive paid off with international fame.

Number 2:Amani

This artist is also Kenyan. She was born in Thaki in 1980 as Cecilia Wairimu but she got more popular in Africa with her stage name "Amani". She is a marvellous pop musician in Africa and won many international awards. The most notable award of Amani's career is "MTV Africa Music Awards" which she won "best female singer" category in  2009.

Number 1:Juliana Kanyomozi

  Juliana is considered as the Whitney Houston of Africa, mainly for her popularity across Africa. She was born in Uganda And is considered as the best singer in Africa.

Number 8:Ary (Aryovalda Eulalia Gabriel)




The Angolan Magical voice was born in Huila province  and became prominent to international music industry. She was inspired by Lauryn Hill. Ary started singing when she was 14 years old.

Number 7:Becca



She Is the No.1 female singer in Ghana. Her voice literally blows your mind and you would want to hear it again. She showed her talent in a singing competition. She became a world wide famous African female singer shortly after she released "you lied to me". She is in R&B category in Ghana.

Number 6: Suzanna Lubrano

Suzanna is the only female  African singer who belongs to Cape Verde. She earned fame as the top-rated Zouk singer in Rotterdam. She was born on November 19,1973. Her voice has won her" Best Female Artist of Africa" award  in 2003 in the "Kora All African Music Award Ceremony". She is rated highly among many famous African R&B singers.

I think that all the people who  have seen my blog know all about me and my limit of craziness. In case you haven't been on this blog before I am Marzia. I am 13 years old and I am a music crazed teenager. I am completely crazy and I love hanging out with my friends(Tarynn, Nina and Tamzyn) and fashion.
I was at home and I was thinking about African musical artists so I decided to research it.
Since I am a female musician I did it on females.

Number 10:Zamajobe


Zamajobe is a South African singer in this list. She was born in Frankfort but raised in Vosloorus. She started singing from the age of nine in the local choir. She started out as a gospel artist but later on became popular as a soulful jazzy singer in the country. Her single "magic" was an international hit solo performance.
 

Number 9:Lira

This South African voice has had an awesome 2009 because Of her winning multiple music awards. She won 4 awards in the South African Music awards. Her magical voice also earned her a bunch of nominations for the Cannel O awards. She earned international fame for "FEEL GOOD" her best selling song in Africa.
